Help plan Oshawa’s 100th birthday party -The City of Oshawa is looking for members of the community to join the committee tasked with helping city staff plan Oshawa’s centennial celebrations; Oshawa will mark 100 years as a city in 2024 and the Community Centennial committee will provide input, plan and help execute activities in that marquee year. Oshawa council passes 2.03 per cent tax hike for 2020 - Oshawa residents will see a modest increase on the city portion of their tax bill in 2020 after council passed a 2.03 per cent tax increase in December.
